Those of you who've been around the Agility scene in S.A. for a few years will doubtless remember
the archetypal 'little Aussie battler' red Cattle Dox-X 'Echo' found on the beach as a very young pup,
who introduced Tanya Reichstein to dogsports back in the late 90's, and went on to represent his club
(SAODC) in inter-club team events, and and later his state (N.T.) in a National Teams events including
the Advance Challenge at SACA Park in 2006, and the Nationals here in 2007, having found the Darwin
climate suited his health as he  grew older.  He went to Darwin as the N.T.'s only dog in Masters & helped
    raise the bar there, despite injuries and through a a number of 'come-backs', always giving his best;
eventually retiring from all competiton last year, just short of also becoming the N.T's first Ag.Ch..
He was a delightful character, and Tanya's soul-mate through some tough times; but while his spirit
was still willing, his body just couldn't maintain the battle, and she had to give him his wings last week.
He died peacefully at home, where he'll be very sadly missed. Here they are in more carefree times:

        New Titles gained :
Please note:

the committee has recently introduced a form which we hope you'll fill out for us whenever you complete a title, as our flow of official information is no longer as fast as it used to be, and as a result, we apologise to those whose achievements have gone unacknowledged in recent months, both at club announcements, and on these pages...

On June 5th at our own double trial, we saw Martyn Bartlett and 'Dippy' take out their JD Title in fine style with a sweeping 1st Place, but hotly pursued by another of our own in 2nd Place, and also finishing their title, Kathy Bannister with her Staffy 'Ripley' (Riverhaven Copperleaf  CD AD JD ) who went on to polish off their AD Title in the afternoon, this time taking 1st Place themselves, with Martyn running Unetta Shugg's 'Meeko' into3rd Place for their AD Title .

Kathy & 'Ripley' negotiate the Scramble             ~                'Fanta' finishing fast

and Neville & Elaine Cox's 'Fanta' (Supernova Final Fantasy ADM JDM ADO  JDO GD SPD ET)
finished a very timely Masters Jumping Title.

Then at Gawler's double Games trial on July 4th, Kathy & 'Ripley' (above left) also completed their
Gambler Dog title; while Judy Magarey & 'Flynn' (below left) nailed their Strategic Pairs Dog title,
and Julie Brown & 'Sage' (Collieston Kentucky Sage CD ADX JDX GD SD SPDX) finished their SPDX.
